Lovely village cafe in the heart of the Derbyshire hills. Visited with my rellies from Australia and New Zealand, they loved it.
Nice little cafe, staff very pleasant, food good at reasonable price, highly recommend
I love this cafe! The ham, cheese, gherkin, mustard sandwich was high quality and delicious. The chocolate and orange cake, nice and light and flavourful; and the bakewell tart also delicious and well-portioned. The staff were friendly, and although the cafe was busy, they managed it with grace. Keep up the good work :)
A great little cafe with warm friendly staff that serves yummy food and good coffee. Me an my daughter had Bakewell slice it was that tasty only left a few crumbs for you to view on photo. They even let dogs in.
With a little while to wait after a long bus journey from Sheffield, decided to take a break in Baslow where we discovered this lovely little cafe. Unfortunately it was only around 30 mins to closing time but the staff were happy to do me a hot cornish pasty and a slice of cake & a coffee. All of which was delicious. If heading for Bakewell and you fancy a nice tasty treat, this place is definitely recommended!!
Late review I was here 2 months ago. Great coffee lovely service , unfortunately because they didn't have a chef they could not do bacon or sausage butties. In morning but very good for coffee and a cake
Amazing food, we had breakfast and the bread was lovely. Friendly staff and felt very cozy. Also use their BnB apartment for the weekend and it was lovely, lovely design and cosy and has everything you need.
A great cafe for cyclists, fantastic Coffee and a perfect menu to fuel your ride. I had the Italian toasted Chorizo mozzarella and pesto sandwich, it is absolutely delicious, home made cake to follow. Perfect location to stop during a ride in the Peak District close to Chatsworth house and grounds.
